Serendipity is a weblog/blog system, implemented with PHP. It is standards compliant, feature rich and open source (BSD License).

It has an easy to use authoring interface, lets you upload/resize/manage/insert images using your webbrowser, and does nifty search-engine friendly url-rewriting, and serves you a clearly structured administration area that lets you adjust every setting you can imagine.
