My Mac (and I) switched tables today. It used to sit on the right table, which is a little smaller than the left one. As most of my work is done with the Mac instead of pen and paper, I decided to put it on the bigger desk.
On the very very left you can see a wall-mounted 17" lcd-monitor. I've been using it for almost seven years now, and it's still working. It's connected to an extra linux/windows machine I have hidden beneath my desk. Where are it's mouse and keyboard though? Nowhere!
My mac and the wall-mounted screen are controlled only with my mac's keyboard and mouse: If the pointer leaves the left side of the mac-screen, it enters the wall-mounted screen. I used to use X2vnc and vnc before, but now that I switched to a mac, I've come up with another solution called synergy (not the iTunes-thingy). Nice.
P.S.
Does anyone need a LCD-stand? I happen to have a spare one ;)
