Location of the personal dictionary (aspell/cocoAspell)


The FAQ of cocoAspell is a bit misleading. Your personal dictionaries will end up in two places: One in ~/Library/Spelling (which is where OSX stores the personaly dictionary) and the one that's actually read by aspell is in ~/Library/Preferences/cocoAspell (the *.pws files).
