Sterling submitted a whole lot of patches and new features for jBlog last night, while I'm still trying to recover from last night. We'll set up a public CVS for jBlog soon, so you guys can download it.

Can somebody from the U.S. please contact me and tell me newsmax.com is a satire magazine?
Or something alike?
Please?
Anyone?
No?
I don't know, what to say.
P.S.
I've just emailed them:

To: Christopher Ruddy (Newsmax Editor in chief)
Dear Mr. Ruddy,
I've just read a headline on newsmax.com "France, Germany: Let Iraq Attack Turkey". You also show an image subtitled "Hitler's children: Thousands of pro-Saddam Germans stage anti-U.S. rally in Munich.". As I'm not a native speaker, I was wondering whether newsmax.com is really a news magazine, or a satire site such as www.whitehouse.org (as opposed to .gov).
I desperately hope, this subtitle was a mistake, since you're basically calling germans "Hitler's children" and blame the german population to be pro-Saddam and anti-U.S. I'd like to know your sources for these impertinently false accusations. Please, show me that "America's News Page" is able to deliver sophisticated journalism - instead of trying to manipulate your folks by pure propaganda (just relinquish that to Saddam).
Thanks,
Jannis Hermanns.

P.P.S.
I didn't get an email-reply, but they've altered the subtitle a bit and changed the image, so it reflects the "anti-U.S." standard-german somewhat better.
Click the thumbnail to enlarge. Here's my reply, I wonder what's next!

Mr. Ruddy,
thanks for changing the subtitle! The "Hitler's children" is still a deliberate defamation (hey, a foreign-language alliteration!), though. And, I have to admit, that new image looks more anti-U.S.
Regards from Germany,
Jannis Hermanns.

P.P.P.S
Here comes another one (subtitle):

"Hitler's children: Germans deface U.S. flag but don't object if Saddam invades Turkey."
Now I know, why their editors don't have time for well-founded research: they are all busy making up funny new subtitles every 3 minutes!
P.P.P.P.S.
OMG. They just altered the whole text. Since I'm not an editor @ newsmax I don't have the time to take screenshots for you on a minutely basis. Will update, in case there's a major change.
Enough!
No more cost accounting today! Tried to install Slicker today, but it's still too far off an installable version. Too much patching configures, Makefiles, downgrading libs and so on. I'll go to bed.
