This EA Sports game is killer. After Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 this is the first game that kept me excited about playing offline. It's not easy to learn, but once you figure out the hooks and jabs, you're addicted. The controls are just great, the second analogue stick is used to control punches, the left one to control your body, pretty intuitive, all in all.
In addition to the great gameplay, the career mode is what finally gets you addicted. Even though you can adjust the looks of your boxer (pretty much everything is configurable, like in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004), you can't change it anymore. You earn experience, skill and money. Before each fight you schedule, you have to go through a training camp. The better you score, the more experience/skill points you can allocate. For each win, you get money. The money you use to buy custom moves, dresses for your Julies, tatoos, taunts, and whatnot.
Great one!

Haha, that's one funny game! Just played it for a while, seems like a cool game, especially playing with/against friends. Looks promising, so, Muesli, David, Eisbär, you're up for a nice and clean royal rumble? ;)
And by the way: Eric Bischoff just got a good beating from stone cold Steve Austin....
And now it's time for me to go to the gym.

Damn, that's a nice game! Have never been really into football, but still this game rocks. It's fun to play, even though I don't really understand all the different moves to choose from. But it's a nice, fast, powerful and impulsive play...
Go grab it and have fun (while I'm trying to figure out my defense ;))

I tried the Prologue version of GT4 the other night. Was quite an adventure, as the chinese menues weren't as intuitively usable as I assumed, but I finally managed to get a race started. Pretty disappointing. I tried the Grand Canyon rally and also a race track, and it pretty much sucked. The rally car was hard to control, totally different from GT3...
So let's see if the final version will suck, too. I ordered anyways ;) Will now have food with CG, as he is leaving tomorrow... He'll be back on April 1st, though... Hooray!
