Hehe, just found out, that Süddeutsche Zeitung is talking about Muesli's and my site www.notcpa.org. The article appears when you go to the main page and click on "Computer". Whoow, that's easy. If you know german, you can read the article online.

Anyways, got to get prepared for the Cost Accounting test tommorrow, did quite a lot with Tobias yesterday, I think he'll join in today, too. Sterling already submitted a TODO and a bunch of patches for jBlog, the webLog system serving you right now...

I've just switched to my own weblog-system. It's called jBlog. It's supposed to be the best weblogging system in PHP out here, with the admin-interface as a special strenght. Currently, it lets you administer your diary (add, edit, delete entries) - nothing special. But, there is a nice image manager included. It let's you upload images to your server, fetch images from other servers to yours, rename them and also scale them to your needs. This is done using image magick.

It's designed in a way that lets you easily integrate it into your site - offering an API to draw the calendar, show entries, search entries, and so on. Don't worry though, there's an index file included so you can use jBlog without any trouble. Just unpack it to your webserver, read INSTALL and adjust the config file - you're set!

It's still a beta though, Sterling will help me out a little by beta testing it, as well as muesli. I'll set up a public CVS (and also a project page ;)) once jBlog has all the features a blogging system needs.

I'm really wondering whether all this is a big joke. The U.S. embassy sent a letter to U.S. citizens living in Munic to fuel up their cars, in case they need to get to the airport quick,ly. Maybe they should start selling their microwaves at extremely high prices, too. We don't have microwaves here, we're barbarians, we're polluting the environment, we're not respecting other peoples position, we don't have water in our houses, but since we just discovered electricity a microwave is a nice thing to have. Which world do you live in???

This is my motivation. I'll go there in a little more than 3 weeks. Two weeks pure snowboardin' are coming up! HORRRAAYYYYYY! Alright, got to work for the accounting test on monday now. Cost Calculation and Commercial Information Technology tests are coming up on wednesday and Feb 21st. OMG.
